About the Journal
Mabbarakka : Journal of Islamic Economics is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal of Islamic economics, aiming to provide an academic platform for cross-disciplinary research in Islamic economics, with a primary focus on developing countries. This journal is published twice a year, namely in June and December, by the Sharia Economics Study Program STAI AGH Sanusi Baco, Maros, Indonesia. The journal covers major topics in the field of Islamic economics, with the following scope:
- Islamic Finance
- Philanthropy Islam
- Sharia-compliant financial technology
- Islamic economic thought
- Sharia-based buying and selling
- Islamic Rental (Ijarah)
- Gadai Islam (Rahn)
- Profit-sharing transactions (Mudharabah and Musyarakah)
- Development of sharia economic transactions
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that are in accordance with the scope of this journal. Please read the information about the peer-review process carefully. Articles published in JESSB go through a double-blind peer review process. The decision whether or not an article is accepted is only determined by the Editorial Board, based on the recommendations of peer reviewers.
Please be sure to read and understand the author's guidelines carefully before preparing the manuscript. Writers who submit manuscripts to editors must adhere to the guidelines provided and use predefined templates. Manuscripts that do not meet the guidelines or are submitted in the wrong format will be rejected by the editorial team prior to the review process. The editorial team will only consider manuscripts that meet the formatting requirements set.
This journal is published by the Sharia Economics Study Program STAI AGH Sanusi Baco, and is published twice a year, in Juny and December.
